AFRICA, DAILY NEWS & ANALYSIS: "Zimbabwean men fear being raped by 'sperm hunting' women!"
"We've been aware of the dangers to men of sperm-hunting women in southern Africa, especially Zimbabwe, for years. Long before it became this titillating news story," says Winnie Lee, co-founder of WUVING.com.
Beautiful female sperm-hunters have been picking up men, drugging them with sexual stimulants, and then forcing them into repeated sex sessions, threatening them with guns, knives and in one case a live snake if the men do not comply.
The women rapists then keep the condoms and harvest the warm sperm for what Zimbabwe police describe as traditional magical rituals enhancing good fortune, boosting business or preventing a criminal from being detected.
Recently, the International Press has been reporting "Gangs of pretty women in Zimbabwe have been raping men to harvest their sperm for use in traditional luck-enhancing 'juju' rituals, according to local media reports."
Local woman, Susan Dhliwayo, claims she pulled her car over recently to pick up a group of male hitchhikers and they refused to get in, as they feared they were going to be raped.
"Now, men fear women. They said: 'We can't go with you because we don't trust you'," Dhliwayo, age 19, said.
Not only have local men (usually hitch-hicking) been victims. Police admit that tourists and business men, black or white men, visiting southern Africa, have been seduced in hotels and forced into repeated sexual acts.

Three sisters and one of their boyfriends were charged in a Harare court for attacking male hitchhikers and collecting their semen for rituals. The twenty something sisters, Sophie and Natsai Nkokwara and Rosemary Chakwizira were released on bail.
The Nhokwara sisters were detained when they were involved in a car accident and police found 31 used condoms in the trunk of their car.
The women face seventeen counts of aggravated indecent assault, as a woman raping a man is not a criminal offense in the country. The three sisters have claimed that they were merely hard-working prostitutes.
"Obviously we know it's being used for rituals," said University of Zimbabwe sociologist Watch Ruparanganda, who believes semen has become a lucrative commodity in Zimbabwe.
Ruparanganda said he was astonished to discover seven years ago that semen appeared to have become a tradable commodity, while doing research for his doctoral thesis among Harare street youth who told him that businessmen would take them to hotels, give them new clothes and ply them with booze.
They were then told to pick a prostitute and to hand over the used condom after sex.
The Zimbabwe National Traditional Healers Association have condemned the practice, asserting that they believe 'this is a form of witchcraft'.
"We are totally against the idea," said spokesman George Kandiyero.
The case has triggered a mix of shock, intrigue and humour - such as one newspaper cartoon showing a naked male hitchhiker hoping to be picked up by a sexy female driver - but also fear among some men.
The sex attacks have not declined since the arrest of the Nhokwara sisters, and police confess that they've lost count of male victims who are known to have been sexually attacked and "milked" of their semen.
Sexual magic has been used for centuries in sub-Saharan Africa. Some practices involve ritual magic: rites using music, usually driven by rhythmetic drumming. Other practices involve power-seeking over others.
For instance, some African women still believe that swallowing a man's semen will give them immense power over that man. Some traditional women teach their daughters to perform oral sex on a potential husband, to "capture his love." Although this practice is disappearing in Christian cultures, it is still known to be practiced in Malawi, Zimbabwe, South Africa, Kenya, Cape Verde, Uganda and Benin.
But times are changing.
"Many modern African women believe it's more about making a wise choice than using sexual magic to find the right husband," explains sociologist Dr Christina Sharpe. "Many believe that Western white man make the best husbands. It's the Hollywood Effect. African girls have grown up believing that Western men are more romantic and give their women undying love and loyalty."
