First of all, what is self defense for the soul means? Is it some kind of training to defend your soul? It sounds funny but seriously, do we really need to defend our soul? What does it truly means and how can it help us with everything we do on a daily basis? Not until Ive truly understand what that phrase means until Ive read an article that really beats the hell out of me. It struck my heart really deep that it made me realize it was right and I was wrong. Realizing that you made a mistake isnt that scary. It was very fulfilling and it feels good to admit the truth that you always fear.Self defense for the soul is like training in order to improve something. And that something is yourself. Something that you never thought deserves your attention. It was something that you often neglect because you thought it was just alright and doing well. It was something you have that you are scared of letting out or knowing about it. Self development is for everyone. It is not a sha meful thing to say that you need it because in fact, all of us need it. Accepting that you lack something is the first step to improve yourself. Denying that you are scared of something is the most cowardly thing to do.Why do we need to improve ourselves anyways? Well, in case you didnt notice, one ultimate goal of entire humanity is to be happy. We do things everyday in order to buy things that we need and it will make us happy. We tend to impress our partner in order to please him or her and thus it makes us happy. We shop things that we and our family needs and that make us happy. We do what we do today because we wanted to be happy. The truth is, we can be really happy if find ourselves. After we reflect of what we really want and what really makes us happy, it might change the way you live throughout many years. The only way to infinite happiness is to know yourself better and do what you really wanted to do. That is called self defense for the soul.
