To harden your blade all you have to do is to heat the blade in a red, high, and hot temperature and after heating let it cool off naturally. The heating is done using either torch or electric kiln but electric kiln is still the best source of heat for hardening knife blade.
The blade is ready for usage once it's the blade is already on a normal temperature. You can re grind it again with 120-grit size or higher, for some remaining irregularities.
