Animal hunting can be a controversial issue for some people. In fact, hunting or any kind of animal killing is slowly being declared illegal in many parts of the world. But still, there are people who love to hunt, for whom hunting is their passion. There are people who would just like to go out there in the forest with their guns and do some serious shooting. For them hunting is a sport, like any other sport. And if you are one of these hunting lovers, then well, you must be really fond of deer hunting.
Among the various species of deer, the white tailed ones are the hardest to catch. Some even go to the extent of stating that they have extra sensory perception. A general 'hunting myth' would be, that if you are in a jungle for hunting and when there are plenty of animals around, the white tailed buck would be one of the very first animals to sense your motives and run away to safety. Hence, if you are out to catch one of these, keep a few things in mind.
* Remember, these deer are brought up by the does in a very safe and protected manner. Hence once they grow up, they tend to become not only shy and nervous and also overtly cautious.
* As a result of which, they can sense your presence very fast. It's not proved as to how far their having ESP (extra-sensory perception) is true, but it would definitely pay you off if you can keep your cool and stay relaxed when you do hunting.
* These deer don't have a fixed habitat. They can adapt to any climate and surrounding and hence you will find them in deserts and mountains and plain lands alike. They are also often found near human settlements, in swamps and small end-of-the town forests or woods. So keep a watch out; you never know where you might find them.
At the end of it, even though you cannot manage to actually hunt one, don't loose heart. Hunting is not only about killing the animal. It's also about actually going out there and searching for the animal. The entire experience of being in that natural habitat among all the animals and actually targeting one and running behind it- this is also hunting. If you can keep this in mind (your own ESP), your hunting will become a joyful experience irrespective of whether you've got the catch.
