Portable hunting stands will for sure make your life easier.
I have hunted for many different types of wild game and I am telling you this - It is easier and more productive out of a stand.
Traipsing through the woods and brush making all kinds of noise and scaring off your big chance at bagging your trophy isn't fun! Yes, I have filled my tag doing it this way, but, it could have been so much easier going a different route.
Visiting my uncle, back in North Carolina, I got my first chance to use a hunting stand. What a treat! He had a feed plot all set up with a tree stand just hovering over the kill zone. I shot two of the biggest bucks I have ever got in my life back there! I decided then that I was not going back to ground pounding after my animal.
The tree stand I like the most is probably a portable hunting stand.I like them because of the fact that my hunting ground is unlimited. I can go to any tree and be up and hunting in no time!
Portable Hunting Stands especially the climbing stands are a real benefit to the hunter. If you can't get to a specific area by vehicle and you know a spot that has good animal movement, go with this type of tree stand.
I think that the Summit brand is the way to go.(My opinion) They have comfortable stands that are easy to use and you can get them for a reasonable price.
Here is what I look for in a portable climbing stand:
1 - Ease of use.
2 - Comfort (You may be sitting for a time)
3 - Stability
4 - Safety for sure!
5 - Decently priced
There are many to choose from. Like I said before, Summit makes a good stand and they fit all of the above criteria.
Portable climbing stands have so many positives that it's hard to name them all. Here is my list of why you should consider them.
* You can hunt just about anywhere.
* You can climb almost any tree.
* You can put it on like a pack.
* Depending on which one you buy - it has multiple uses.
* They are small and compact in comparison to other types of stands.
Okay, do I think portable hunting stands are the best? Why yes I do! I have hunted in many different styles of stands and this is my first choice. As far as I am concerned, they are the way to go.
Good hunting!
